Her earlier career has been spent in Compensation and Benefits, after initially training as a Tax Advisor. In addition to fair pay, she has worked across share plans, international benefits and compensation for some of the largest companies in the world, including PwC, KPMG, Barclays Bank, Santander, Shire, Ericsson, amongst others.
Rachel has a BSc Econ (Hons) in International Politics with Strategic Studies from Aberystwyth University, an MA in Human Resource Management from Westminster University, and exam passes leading to membership of the UK's Chartered Institute of Taxation..
